LocalREK was born from a simple observation in the heart of Sparta: our community needed a place where play knows no boundaries. We started this journey to provide youth and adults with a dedicated home for regional sports, turning empty fields into vibrant hubs of activity and connection.

I am a local youth sports director, coach, and mentor with a deep commitment to serving athletes of all ages. For years, I have used sports as a powerful platform to teach character, discipline, teamwork, accountability, resilience, and values that extend far beyond the field and into everyday life.
My leadership is grounded in strong faith-based principles, which guide my passion for mentoring young people and helping them grow not only as athletes, but as confident, responsible individuals prepared for life’s challenges. I believe sports provide one of the greatest opportunities to shape character and instill lifelong lessons.
Beyond athletics, I serve as a certified CDL warehouse manager for a Fortune 500 company, where I bring a strong focus on safety, leadership, and operational excellence. I am also a small business owner, reflecting my entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to serving my community with integrity and purpose.
Most importantly, I am a proud husband and father of three. My family is my greatest motivation, and everything I do, coaching, mentoring, managing, and leading, is driven by a desire to make a lasting, positive impact on the next generation and the community I serve.
Owner/Operator
I am a United States Air Force veteran with a lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and caring for others. My professional journey spans more than 20 years in healthcare, beginning as an EMT and continuing through 13 years as a Licensed Nurse. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving patients and families during some of their most critical moments.
My approach to both work and life is faith-driven, grounded in compassion, integrity, and a deep respect for the dignity of every individual. These values guide my service in healthcare, my leadership as a small business owner, and my involvement within my family and community.
Outside of my professional career, I am a husband and a proud father of three daughters. Our home is built on love, faith, and service. In addition to raising our family, my wife and I serve as host home providers, mentoring and caring for an adult with developmental disabilities who lives with us in our home full-time. I am also an avid sports and outdoor recreation enthusiast, finding balance and renewal through physical activity, teamwork, and time spent outdoors. Whether in scrubs or in daily life, I strive to lead by example, serving others with humility, strength, and purpose.

Our journey is just beginning. Starting with our grand opening in Summer 2026, LocalREK is committed to providing Sparta with premier facilities for all seasons. Our long-term vision includes expanded league offerings for every age group, community-wide tournaments, and state-of-the-art rentals for your private events. We're building more than just a complex; we're creating a permanent home for local sportsmanship and family memories.
